Fertility for Men and Women

Whether you are concerned about a specific complaint, preparing to conceive, or seeking support during IUI, IVF or ICSI, traditional acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine have much to offer.

Some gynaecological conditions are known to have an effect on fertility. In some cases infertility can remain unexplained. It is also important to remember that it takes two to make a baby. Male infertility is a factor in around 40% of couples having difficulty conceiving.

As far as treatment with acupuncture or Chinese herbs is concerned, having a ‘label’ for a complaint is not essential. A diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine is arrived at by categorising the pattern of signs and symptoms that a person presents and the aim of treatment is to restore the body’s equilibrium.
